A Game of Love and Chance at American University

​

Jillian made her costume design debut on an improvised production of Pierre Marivaux's The Game of Love and Chance directed by Karl Kippola. The two casts were assigned roles each night by audience members picking cards and rolling dice. Click HERE to see more details about the costume design and photos taken by Jillian​

The Voices In Your Head

​

For her senior capstone, Jillian wrote, directed, composed, and designed a short musical in which the voices in one girl’s head debate about whether to follow her passion or her doubt. Jillian continues to work on the script and hopes to publish a PG version for middle and high school students.

Quills & Capes at American University

​

Jillian has previously been a part of the student theatre organization for new works, Quills & Capes. This past academic year, Q&C was inactive. Jillian decided to bring back the group with the help of Makayla Fetterman, Alyssa Nolan, Sedona Salb, Jae Gee, and Ted Hill.

Henri IV pt 1 at American University

February 28- March 2, 2024

Jillian played Lady Mortimer in Shakespeare's Henri IV pt 1

adapted and directed by Kate Eastwood Norris

1440 Play Festival at American University

​

Jillian was on the planning committee for the forth play festival. Students have 1440 minuets to write, direct, act, and design a short play. Jillian also designed for all of the plays.

Head Over Heels at American University

October 20-21, 27-28 2023

​

Jillian played Pamela in Head Over Heels at the Greenberg Theater in the fall semester of her senior year. The production was directed by Carl Menninger and choreographed by Cate Ginsberg.

​

Jillian also supported the production as Assistant Costume Designer under designer Sydney Moore

National Capital Cabaret

March 21, 2023

​

Jillian performed in the National Capital Cabaret at Crazy Aunt Helen's with fellow students of Susan Derry. She sang 'Stupid With Love" from Mean Girls the Musical, with accompaniment from Howard Bretbart

Lost Girl at American University

March 2-4 2023

Jillian played Toodles in Lost Girl by Kimberly Belflower. The production was directed by Aaron Posner, and Carrie Edick acted as the intimacy choreographer.
